Pushing SharePoint Online Work to an Azure Worker Role [Hmmm...]
I have been considering moving this blog to SharePoint Online so that I can integrate my entire Office 365 suite. To that end, I was curious about how much automation could be accomplished by using SharePoint Designer 2013. The verdict is, a lot of automation can be accomplished! For example, SharePoint Workflows can be built from SharePoint Designer 2013.
In this example, I could upload files into a SharePoint Online site and then push them off to an Azure Cloud Service Worker Role for processing. Maybe I need to sanitize legal documents or convert documents to different formats--could be anything really.
I have to run some experiments. More to follow...
